Arron's latest series of paintings question the existence of ideal beauty by juxtaposing commodified female images and real sand into his imaginative world, Withered Paradise. The use of sand and oil paints in Withered Paradise suggests the contradictions we perceived the ideal beauty to be. Beside painting, he also photographs abandons spaces and people around him as his works of art and lectures Digital Art & Photography on a part-time basis at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore. |
