Arron Teo (B. 1982, Singapore. Resides & work in Singapore)

Arron Teo graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and University of Huddersfield, UK with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art: Painting and Drawing. He was listed as one of the Seven Artists to watch by Prestige Magazine in September 2007. He was also invited to appear on Channel 8’s Good Morning Singapore (29 December 2008) and interviewed by My Paper (31 December 2008) regarding his photographs & experience in Eye é City 2007.

Arron’s photographs have won him 2nd prize in Life is Great photography competition in 2003 and 1st prize in Singapore Police Academy Photography Competition in 2005. He was awarded Honorable Mention in Everyman Photo Contest, USA in 2004. His Photographs have been exhibited in various prominent venues such as Singapore Art Museum, Post-Museum, National Library, The Substation and internationally in Phoenix Arizona and New Delhi. Various photography books have also featured his photographs such as To Singapore with Love, The Magical Spaces Project, Eye é City (2002-2009) and Singapore Art Gallery Guide (various issue in 2010 & 2011)

Arron enjoys photographing weddings, events & documentaries in his naturalistc style. He believe naturalistic moments in photography are the truest & sweetest memory for his clients. Abandons spaces and people around Arron are regularly featured in his personal photography. Arron also lectures Digital Art & Photography on a part-time basis at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore.
